Acceptable Use Policy

1. Upstream Provider Policies

The Tokonomix API routes requests to third-party AI model providers. Your use of those models is subject to the providers’ own usage policies, which are incorporated by reference:

• Anthropic Claude models: Anthropic Acceptable Use Policy
• OpenAI GPT models: OpenAI Usage Policies
• Google Gemini models: Google Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy

Any use that would violate a provider’s own AUP is also prohibited under this AUP. Tokonomix may be required to report violations to the relevant provider.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Tokonomix API to:

• Circumvent model safety measures:Attempt to bypass, override, or elicit content from AI models in ways that violate the models’ content policies (jailbreaking, prompt injection attacks targeting safety filters).
• Generate illegal content: Generate, store, or distribute content that is illegal under applicable law, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), content inciting violence, or content that infringes intellectual property rights.
• Facilitate abuse: Use the API to harass, threaten, defame, or otherwise harm individuals or groups.
• Automated mass surveillance: Use the API for mass biometric surveillance, unlawful profiling, or social scoring in ways prohibited by the EU AI Act.
• Deceive or impersonate: Generate content that impersonates real persons or organisations without authorisation, or that is designed to deceive recipients into believing AI-generated content is human-authored where disclosure is required by law.
• Resell without authorisation: Resell or sublicense API access to third parties except as explicitly permitted by your plan tier.
• Security attacks: Use the API to test, probe, or exploit vulnerabilities in third-party systems without authorisation.
• Abuse the platform: Conduct denial-of-service attacks, scrape internal metadata endpoints, or deliberately exceed rate limits to degrade service for other users.

3. Responsible AI Use

We encourage responsible AI deployment. When building applications with the Tokonomix API, you are responsible for:

• Implementing appropriate output filters and human oversight where your application makes consequential decisions.
• Disclosing to end users that responses are AI-generated, where required by applicable law or good practice.
• Not submitting special-category personal data (health, biometrics, political opinions, etc.) without appropriate legal basis and safeguards.
• Maintaining logs or audit trails for your own compliance obligations.

4. Account Suspension Procedure

Tokonomix reserves the right to suspend or terminate API access for AUP violations:

1. Automated detection: Patterns indicative of abuse (rapid fire requests, jailbreak signatures, anomalous usage) trigger an internal review flag.
2. Notice: For non-critical violations, we will email the account holder at least 48 hours before suspension, describing the alleged violation and providing an opportunity to respond.
3. Immediate suspension: For severe violations (CSAM, active security attacks, mass data harvesting), accounts may be suspended immediately without prior notice.
4. Appeal: Suspended accounts may appeal within 30 days by contacting mailbot@zelixai.ai. We aim to respond to appeals within 5 business days.
5. Termination: Repeated or severe violations result in permanent account termination. Prepaid credits are forfeited.

5. Reporting Violations

To report abuse or violations of this AUP, contact mailbot@zelixai.ai. Include as much detail as possible: account identifier (if known), timestamp, and description of the alleged violation. We take all reports seriously and investigate within 5 business days.

6. Updates

Tokonomix may update this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated to API account holders by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the API after the effective date of a revised AUP constitutes acceptance.
